Shiva Yoga Niketan has developed a new yoga system for newcomers. The four-week preparatory yoga series introduces students to all the basic fundamentals of Yoga. In most of the present time, there is a dilemma in most of all, whether yoga knowledge will be helpful for us? Will we be able to do meditation, asanas and postures correctly in the difficult yoga techniques? Will we understand the changes within the body which is happening with yoga? Keeping in mind the questions of students, Shiva Yoga Niketan has started a special yoga series to develop the deep yoga understanding among all. In this yoga series, students will be told how they can understand the science of life through yoga power and fulfil their living values so that they can improve their life in physical, moral and social manner.

What you will learn?


  • During the course with the help of asanas and different body postures student will be told about the problems of the human body and their body abilities for better yoga performance.
  • With the help of right asana and postures, students will be able to understand how they can correct their shortcomings and do the things with stability.
  • By passive Stretching techniques Students will feel the energy and flexibility in their health. By applying some simple asana, students will be able to understand and co-ordinate with their architecture of nervous system.
  • With the help of regular pranayama, Students will experience energy in himself. At the same time, students will be able to know the reasons for obstructs in the body’s energy. With the help of Pranayama, the causes of obstruction of physical energy can also be treated.
  • Meditation power will be developed from regular yoga practice, as it is necessary today for everyone. Also, Students will be given best advices on yoga practice as well as proper guidance in order to strengthen their body health.
  • With the help of philosophical and moral knowledge, students will develop awareness towards different dimensions of life so that they can experience inner peace and fulfilment from within.
  • All the teachers of Shiva Yoga Niketan will interact with each student personally and give proper guidance to the students based on their health so that they can give their life a better change. The initial yoga series will prove to be useful for all students.




In this Yoga series of Shiva Yoga Niketan, you will be able to understand the history, yoga philosophy and development of yoga, as well as you will analyze all the famous yoga literature in depth. You will know what is the goal of yoga and what kind of yoga practice can you do to fulfill those goals. This yoga series will introduce you to the purpose of yoga so that you can use yoga knowledge to improve your personal and professional life.

ETHICS AND BEHAVIOUR


  • You will know the ancient science given in Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hath Yoga Pradipika, Swara Yoga and Bhagvad Gita.
  • You will be able to know the structure of the human body through intense knowledge of pranayama, shakta karma and meditation.
  • You will understand the development aspects of Vedic principles and personality.
  • Mantra pronunciation and kirtan will be part of your daily activities.
  • Change in yoga techniques according to the personality of student can be made, so that students can be benefitted more by the yoga practices.
  • Suitable meals for physical, mental and spiritual development will be included with yoga practices.
  • To understand the problems of all the students presentations and question & answer sessions will be conducted.
  • All students should keep in their mind that Shiva Yoga Niketan taught only the traditional principles of Hath and Raj Yoga.
  • Behaviour plays an important role in learning and evaluating. Students should understand the rules and community ideas suggested by the ancient sages for yoga practice.
  • Food prepared at Shiva yoga niketan is according to ancient guidelines of Ayurveda and yoga. All students are expected to adept to change their diet habits according to yoga.
  • All students will reach their class in time and students who are not coming in time to time will not be allowed to attend the classes.
  • All students are requested that they will clear their dues before leaving the premises.
  • Accommodation facility available with meal during the course and only vegetarian food will be made available, any type of non vegetarian meal will not be provided in the premises.
  • All the students should be mentally and physically fit before the beginning of yoga course and if their health is not good then they are suggested to consult their doctor.
